How did you know we were dreaming of those crystal champagne flutes?! They’re by far the most beautiful glasses in our home and we’ve never felt fancier. You’ll have to come over soon so we can toast to you! So excited to see you in June.

Matt and I will be driving to the beach.

Shell Island Resort is where Matt and I had our 1st (ish) vacation together. This is where we will be staying... and having the ceremony! We do have room block at the resort. You will need to call 1-910-344-0888 to have Meredith setup your reservation for you.  You must tell her "Townsend/Burk Wedding".  The rooms are all oceanfront suites. The rate is $179 plus fees per night, for Sun-Thur.  If you come earlier/stay longer, the rate is higher for Fridays/Saturdays. Reservations must be received by 9/1/2023, and a credit card guarantee is required. Each event attendee is responsible for ensuring that they receive a written room confirmation from The Hotel. After this date any unused rooms in your block will be released to general hotel availability. 

(Matt counts our weekend at Hocking Hills as a vacation... I don't. 
Thus, the beach became our 1st-ish vacation.)
