The wedding is taking place on October 5th, 2024, at the Dreams Sapphire Resort in Puerto Morelos, Mexico.
Aside from the wedding itself and reception, there will be several planned activities and events for guests to enjoy during the wedding weekend. These will include bachelor and bachelorette excursions, a welcome cocktail party, and rehearsal dinner.
The dress code for each event will vary. The rehearsal dinner will be dress casual, while the wedding itself will require beach wedding attire. The cocktail party and excursions will be more casual, allowing guests to dress comfortably while enjoying the events.
The best way to get to the wedding location is to take advantage of the free shuttle service provided by the resort from the airport. Alternatively, guests can also book a private transfer online for an additional fee.
There are various accommodation options at or near the wedding location. The Dreams Sapphire Resort is a kid-friendly, all-inclusive resort that has everything guests may need. However, if guests prefer to stay elsewhere, they can contact our preferred travel agent, Jessica Tate at Personalized Destinations by Jessica, for assistance with finding alternative accommodation options. We do have a special rate for accommodations at the Dreams Sapphire Resort. Once guests have RSVP'd, we can share the group pricing codes and further information on how to book their stay at the discounted rate. However, we don't have any group rates or discounts available for flights as each guest would need to book their own flight separately.
Cancun's weather during the beginning of October is generally warm and sunny, with temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to mid-80s Fahrenheit (mid-20s to low 30s Celsius). However, there is a chance of rain or thunderstorms, so it's always a good idea to pack accordingly and be prepared for any weather changes. We also recommend purchasing travel insurance, especially when traveling internationally, to ensure that any unforeseen circumstances are covered. Our preferred travel agent, Jessica Tate at Personalized Destinations by Jessica, can assist you in obtaining travel insurance for your trip.
Children are allowed and welcome at the resort, but please note that the wedding and related events are adult-only. We kindly ask that you make childcare arrangements for your little ones during these times. Dreams Sapphire has a Complimentary Explorer's Club for kids aged 3-12. The club has American Red Cross trained staff, and is open from 9am - 10pm daily.
