We met at our work internship in Dallas, Texas. I had been reading the intern bios during the first week and was immediately intrigued by Blaine's fun fact, "I know all of the words to 'Fly Me to the Moon' by Frank Sinatra". I knew that I had to meet this kid who had the same love for Italian music as I did. The remainder of that summer internship was spent exploring Dallas with each other and some mutual friends from the internship. After a weekend trip to Austin, the rest was history! We finished out the summer internship as an official couple then both went our separate (but together at heart) ways back to college to finish out our senior years. Long distance was tough but with multiple visits to Harry Potter World and Aggie Land, we managed to make it through. 5 years later and we're finally getting married!! ....And still working together!

We were on vacation in Rhode Island with my (Deanna's) family for two whole weeks. Whenever we are in New England, we try to take a day trip to Boston (our favorite city!). On Tuesday, July 6th, we took the train to Boston bright and early at 6am. We spent the morning in Boston eating brunch, drinking coffee and walking through Boston Common. After an amazing lunch at Legal Seafood, Blaine walked us along the harbor to Rowes Wharf. Blaine told me to pose for a picture under the massive American Flag hanging from the Arch, but instead of taking a picture he dropped down to one knee. Through all the shock and excitement, I had no idea that my cousin Alyssa, best friend Katie and Alyssa's fiancé Tommy had popped out from around the corner to capture every second of the proposal. This moment on Rowes Wharf will be one that we will never forget and will cherish forever! But the fun didn't stop there, Blaine and my family had a little engagement party waiting for us back at the beach house that evening. It couldn't have been more perfect!!
