Love starts here

During the years of Ben being a "Mall Cop", DeAnna worked late night shifts at Orange Julius in the mall food court. The story of how Ben Mall Cop got DeAnna Julius's phone number is still a complete mystery to this story but there still is a beginning. Ever since that number popped into his contacts he was persistent on going on a date when he got back after his family Christmas. Since DeAnna's car was in the shop for the next few weeks, Ben picked DeAnna up right from work on Dec 28th 2016 and it was the date you could only imagine! Sushi and Star Wars Okay, maybe its not as romantic to everyone, but it resonated well with the couple enough to go on a few more dates, and call it official on January 17, 2017. The story is simple, cute, but it has been nothing short about it. From traveling to multiple state capitals, trying scary, strange food, turning a house of a bachelor to a home for the two of them, to shooting guns, helping each other through loss, and the hassle of career changes; these two have always found the joy in each other's company. The only thing that was missing, was a nice ring! or, at least that's what Ben thought on October 5th, 2019. Reliving their first concert together, The Chainsmokers, Ben got down on one knee in front of 100 people (including a rather large group of screaming 16year old's), and proposed with a ring made from his mothers 30year old dinner ring. The start of a family keepsake, and a forever commitment at the start of a pandemic! 721 days later, we are here, September 25th, 2021.
