February through April is Treasure Hunting Season in Gold Beach! Each year thousands of colorful glass floats are “hidden” on the beach for visitors to find. Every week the floats are placed above the high surf line on the beach from just south of Kissing Rock wayside to a little north of the Rogue River north jetty.
