How do I book a room at the castle?

Answer

Guests cannot book rooms at the castle directly, as the property is not a hotel. Please inform the bride and groom if you would like to stay at the castle including number of adults/children.

Towels, linens, 3-in-one body wash/face wash/shampoo, and a standard hotel style hairdryer. *A ground-floor ironing room is available with 2 irons and a steamer.

Is there dining on the grounds?

The castle grounds include a cafeteria. * Open from 11:30 AM until the start of the event or until 7:00 pm * Coffee, tea, and cappuccino are included in the room rate * Guests may purchase sandwiches and salads for lunch (must be ordered at breakfast) * Drinks and lunches purchased can be paid at check-out * It is not allowed to bring drinks or food onsite from external sources Any exception must be agreed upon.

Smoking is not allowed inside the castle halls or bedrooms.

Do I need an adapter for the outlets?

Answer

Yes, you should purchase European adapters before the trip. They can be easily found on Amazon.

Can I use my hair tools (i.e. blow dryer, straightener etc)?

Answer

Please double check that your American hair tools are dual voltage. If they are not, you could run the risk of ruining your expensive hair tools (Dyson and Shark products are typically NOT dual voltage). You can check your hair tools voltage by finding the website of your device and looking at the specs. Make sure your hair tool is 220-240 V. The castle provides a standard hotel style blow dryer in each room.
