Question

What time should I arrive

Answer

Doors will lock and our ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm. However, guest will be allowed to enter the venue at 330pm. The doors open at 330 pm. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm and the doors will lock with no exceptions.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Although we love your children, we ask that you get childcare for the night.This is a 21+ event. The only kids allowed are those in the wedding party. If you are unable to attend without your children, know that you will be missed and that we appreciate your consideration.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

At this time, we are only able to accommodate those named on the invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. For those with plus-ones, please let us know your guest's name for seating chart purposes. Note: Any unapproved plus-one, will not be allowed entrance.

When can I RSVP?

Answer

Now! RSVPs will close on Sunday, May 5th, 2024. This deadline will be strictly enforced, we must provide the venue with our final count. Please do not assume the bride and groom know you are attending, If you do not submit your RSVP by this date, you will not be allowed entrance. Please do not RSVP, if you are not 100% sure that you can attend. RSVPs are for those listed on the invitation ONLY. Any questions, please TEXT the mother of the bride at 248.820.2844

Where is the ceremony and reception

Answer

The ceremony and reception, will be held at the same location 2nd floor of the Lafayette Grande, 1 Lafayette St. Pontiac MI 48342 The cocktail hour will be held on the 3rd floor We do ask that you take the stairs to the second floor and reserve the elevator use for the elderly/disabled. If you are elderly/disabled and need to use the elevator there will be an elevator attendant present to assist you.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We want to see our loved ones dressed up with us. Please come in your best semi-formal/formal attire. We ask that you avoid the color white and no denim. Our theme is Enchanted Forest in the Spring. Feel free to wear your favorite spring colors 🦋🌸

Do I have to pay for parking?

Answer

NO! Parking is FREE. There is a parking lot adjacent to the building and 2 lots across the street.

Do I have to bring money for the bar?

Answer

No! There is an open bar but feel free to tip. Know that the venue will cut you off if you can't handle your liquor. Remember, you are an adult, who needs to get home safely. The bar will be closed during the ceremony and dinner. Please grab your drink during the cocktail hour if you would like a drink for the toast and dinner service. The bar will reopen promptly after dinner.

What should I get the newlywed couple?

Answer

The couple prefers monetary gifts (cash, check, cashapp, venmo, zelle, or gift cards). However, if you prefer to bring a gift instead, they are registered on Amazon and the link can be found under the registry tab.

What is the vibe?

Answer

We will be keeping it classy-is until 8 pm, at which time, you will note a switch in the music as we begin "taking over for the 99 and 2000s". If you are a secular person or uncomfortable with uncensored music, this would be the most appropriate time for you to leave. This is a no judgment zone!

Will the ceremony be unplugged?

Answer

No, however, we have spent a lot of money on professional videography and photography, so please be mindful to not get in their way or use your flash! Please have all phones on silent during the ceremony.
