What’s the dress attire?

Dress Attire: Formal Gentlemen: Dark suits with a dress shirt and conservative tie. Ladies: Black Tie; floor-length dresses or elegant gowns.

Can I bring a plus-one?

We love all of our guests, but due to limited space, only those listed on your invitation are invited. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome at the wedding?

Our reception will be held on a boat, so for safety (and space!) reasons, this will be an adults-only celebration.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by March 29th, 2026. We kindly ask you to respond as early as possible so we can finalize details — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Please RSVP “no” as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Where should I stay?
Answer
Because of a large conference in Chicago that weekend, hotel rooms are going quickly and we weren’t able to secure a block. We highly recommend booking accommodations as soon as possible. In addition to hotels, there are also wonderful Airbnb options nearby.

What’s the nearest airport?
Answer
Both O’Hare and Midway airports are convenient options.

What time can we board the boat?
Answer
Boarding begins at 5:30pm, and we strongly recommend arriving by 5:00pm. The boat will depart promptly at 6:00pm, and we don’t want you to miss the cruise!

Are we able to get off the boat early?
Answer
No — once the cruise begins, the boat won’t dock until the reception ends. If that’s a concern, we completely understand, and kindly ask that you RSVP “no.”

What time does the reception end?
Answer
The boat returns to the dock at 9:00pm. The event will come to a close at 9:30pm.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes! The closest parking option is at 219/225 E. North Water Street, on the LOWER level. There is additional parking at 201 E. Illinois Street, on the LOWER level. You can also check SpotHero for additional options!

Is there parking validation for the suggested parking?
Answer
Yes! Validation is provided at the Odyssey Chicago River ticket booth that will automatically reduce your rate.

Is the reception indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The reception will take place inside the boat, but there’s also a bow deck for fresh air and gorgeous city views.
Question
Is there an after-party or brunch the next day?
Answer
We’ll be heading out to bars downtown after the boat docks — feel free to join! There won’t be a formal brunch the next day, as the bride and groom will be taking some time to themselves.

Can I ship gifts to your home instead of bringing them?
Answer
Yes, please! Having gifts shipped directly to our home makes everything much easier.
