Question

What happens if the weather is bad and the ferry is canceled?

Answer

We will be watching the weather like a hawk during the week leading up to the wedding. If we feel the ferry is at risk of being canceled, we will coordinate alternative lodging options on the mainline as a fall-back!

Are there cars on the island?

Answer

No cars! All event locations are easily accessible by foot. We promise not to make anyone hike farther than they feel comfortable.

What should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony at Burnt Head is roughly a half mile walk from the Trailing Yew. Come as you feel comfortable! Maggie has put together a handful of colors to wear as a guiding point. The weather in September is unpredictable, it may be very warm out, or chilly fall temperatures. We didn't want to set a strict dress code because of this.
