When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to ceremony start.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

To be respectful to the Catholic Holy Mass we humbly ask that you wear formal or causal formal attire.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There is a block of rooms reserved at the Hampton Inn & Suites. Call and request deAndrade/Chuppe wedding for a discounted rate! This hotel is a 2 min drive to the reception venue Gateway to Science. Please see the travel tab for more details.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There are two lots for parking available at the Pro-Cathedral of St. Mary across the church on E Broadway. Parking is also available at Gateway to Science, but may be more limited.

Can I receive communion at the wedding mass?

Answer

Baptized Catholics in a state of grace may come up to receive Holy Communion. However, non-Catholics may come up, with arms crossed, to receive a blessing from the priest.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The Bride and Groom will have a receiving line after the conclusion of the Wedding Mass to personally greet and thank their guests for sharing in their special day.

Question

Does the groom go by John or Trey?

Answer

John deAndrade is the groom's legal name but goes by the nickname Trey since he is the third John in his family.
