It was always you.

Meeting each other was fate. Becoming friends was choice. Falling in love was beyond our control. We first met on a night out in Leigh (good old Barbarellas) in 2008. After a few months, life took us in opposite directions for a number of years. A night out in Liverpool in January 2013, for a mutual friends birthday, brought us unexpectedly back together. Fast forward 8 years and we have bought and renovated our first home, enjoyed relaxing holidays, explored different cities across Europe and made memories to last a lifetime.

June 2018 - Cavtat, Croatia. Those who know Lisa will know how hard it is to keep a secret from her. She asks far too many questions and has to know EVERYTHING! So, the fact that Dean managed to carry an engagement ring all the way to Croatia, hide it in the room and carry it round with him every day without Lisa finding out is an outstanding achievement! Dean had it all planned...a day trip to Montenegro, where he would propose overlooking the Bay of Kotor. Of course it was never going to go that smoothly...if you go on holiday with Lisa be prepared...it WILL rain! 19th June 2018 - At the top of the Srd Mountain in Dubrovnik...a very nervous Dean persuaded Lisa to have a picture taken with the beautiful back drop of Dubrovnik (not that it took much persuading!) As the picture was being taken, Dean got down on one knee and asked Lisa to marry him.
