Heather and Holly met the summer of 2009 lifeguarding at the same pool. The two of them instantly were connected at the hip, each bringing out the fun side of the other. As in every love story, at the end of the summer Heather went back to college at Western Carolina and they lost touch. 2 years later, Heather popped up on Holly's older brothers Match profile. Shawn and Heather hit it off just as quickly as Heather and Holly became friends. Now Heather and Holly are still connected at the hip, but as sisters!
Sam Ross
Bridesmaid
Sam and Holly weren't always the best of friends. Their friendship started off not knowing whether they should like or hate each other. But their hearts were too much alike to become anything other than best friends. From lifeguarding at NCSU, to weddings, to breakups and babies, they have always stood by each others sides. Sam is the first person to tell Holly she looks ridiculous and Holly wouldn't have it any other way.
Elizabeth Laws
Bridesmaid
Elizabeth and Holly became friends the day they met. They were one and the same, and to this day people joke they are the same person (even sometimes making the same horrible hair decisions). Elizabeth has a huge heart and even gave Holly her job as a lifeguard at NC State, where Holly had the best year of her college career due to the friends she made there. Even after 2 kids and a move hours away, Holly and Elizabeth always fall back in sync the moment they see each other.
Melissa Harshman
Bridesmaid
Liss is one of the coolest girls Holly knows. She's a girls girl, but knows how to get down and dirty with the boys. Best part about Holly's new sister in law? She sends funny throw back pictures of Dean to Holly that Holly otherwise would never have access to. And for that, she will be forever thankful. Holly feels so lucky not only to have Liss as a new part of her family, but a friend too!
Jackie Beckwith
Bridesmaid
Jackie and Holly go way back... like 23 years back. From coloring in the back room of grandma's, to making best friend necklaces for one another, they were like two peas in a pod growing up. Jackie is such a special girl, and Holly feels so incredibly lucky to have her stand by her side on her big day!
Matt Williams
Best Man
Matt and Dean met in the 3rd Grade, and once they discovered their houses were less than a 10 minute walk (or bike ride) through the woods, spent most of their adolescent lives together. From summer camp in the Outer Banks to college at UNC Chapel Hill their friendship endured. Dean gained the red-headed brother he'd always wanted and Matt gained legal representation in North Carolina.
Grey Williams
Best Man
Grey is Matt's younger brother, but for all intents and purposes, may as well be his twin. Initially, Dean only knew Grey as the other participant in the bonus-room wrestling matches that inevitably ensued over the Nintendo 64 controller. They bonded over their love for lacrosse and Dean unintentionally gained the second red-headed brother and Co-Best Man he never knew he needed.
Jon Harshman
Groomsman
Jon is Dean's brother-in-law. Dean's sister, Melissa, met Jon her senior year of high school and Dean couldn't have been more relieved to have one of the most patient, level-headed guys watching over his baby sister. They share an affinity for duck hunting and for Dean's niece, Natalie. Widely known as one of the best duck-blind companions in the Nation, Dean couldn't wait to add him to his all-star lineup of Groomsmen.
Shawn Wagner
Groomsman
Shawn is Holly's older brother. Given the facts that he is the (disputed) loudest of the Wagner Clan and owns one of the fiercest Dauchshund-Yorkie mixes ever to have been bred, Dean was instantly terrified. Over time, Dean's fear subsided as he learned that Dauchshund-Yorkies are actually commonly called Dorkies and Shawn's elevated vocal volume is just the bi-product of what he believes to be an entire family hard of hearing.
Evan Wagner
Groomsman
Last, but never least, in Dean's All-star Groomsmen lineup is Evan Wagner. Evan is Holly's younger brother. Some of the things that Dean admires most about Evan is his love for a good ol' Bud Light and diesel trucks. Dean also really appreciates that Evan is the most soft-spoken of the Wagner's - being the youngest, his hearing must still be quite good. Dean cannot wait to gain another brother and companion for truck shopping later this year.
