Many of our guests are excited to use this time as an extended vacation. We invite you to book as early as Sunday, May 2, 2027. Please review the "Travel" and "RSVP" tabs to reserve for the Poulias wedding events that will be happening prior to the wedding. These can be found on the "Travel" and "RSVP" tab of this website.

José Maria Córdova International Airport (MDE) The hotel is approximately 35 minutes from the airport. Information on transportation to and from the airport in Medellín will be updated. Details are included in the "Travel" tab of this website.

Instructions to reserve your stay at our wedding hotel are provided in the "Travel" tab of the website. You must follow the specific instructions on how to book via email. You are all more than welcome to look into AirBnB’s in the Poblado area.

Do I need a passport to travel to Colombia?

Answer

Yes, American Citizens are required to have a passport when traveling to Colombia. Expiration dates... Colombia has an entry requirement of 6 months trailing passport validity. Please check to ensure your passport does not expire before September 2027 even though the wedding is in March 2027. Renewing your passport... If you need to apply for or renew a passport, please leave yourself plenty of time. We recommend submitting your passport application no later than September 2026.

How can I get around Medellín?

Answer

The easiest way to get around is by Uber, InDrive, or DiDi — all are safe and affordable ride apps used throughout the city. Taxis are also available, but we recommend using ride apps for convenience and reliability.

Can I walk around the city?

Answer

In most areas, yes! Neighborhoods like El Poblado, Laureles, and Provenza are pedestrian-friendly during the day. However, we recommend using a ride app at night or for longer distances.

What’s the weather like in Medellin?

Medellín is called the “City of Eternal Spring.” Temperatures stay between 70–80°F (21–27°C) year-round. Bring a light jacket for evenings and a small umbrella — quick rain showers are common.
