Dean & Cate met each other in College in 2008, and after being apart for nearly 10 years with little to zero contact, Dean felt it was time to reach out to the girl who stole his heart. He sent Caitlin a message in October 2017, not knowing if she would reply or not, he responded to her with "I have been waiting for this moment for 10 years". Fast forward to August of 2020, when Dean planned a secret get away to the Poconos Mountains that only a few close friends and family were aware of. As soon as the sun set, Dean asked Cate to walk towards what was a huge bon fire out back. The moon was shining & their favorite song was playing. Dean asked Cate to dance & within seconds of asking her to dance, he was asking her to spend the rest of her life with him. Fireworks lit up the sky and right there we knew the best was yet to be!
