FAQs

We've tried to think of everything, but if you have any other questions please contact Dean or Amy.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by 6th July 2025 so we can finalise all the details for our big day. Your response means the world to us, so please let us know as soon as you can!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 12:30pm, so we kindly ask guests to arrive by 12:00pm to allow plenty of time to find a seat and get settled.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We'd love guests to dress fancy and fabulous for the occasion. If possible, please avoid sage green and of course white!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

To keep our celebration intimate, we're only able to accommodate guests who are specifically named on the invitation. If your invite includes a plus one, it will be clearly stated. We hope you understand and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of immediate family children who are listed on the invitation. We hope you can enjoy a well-deserved night off and celebrate with us!

Question

What is the children's food menu?

Answer

Children that are invited will have a separate menu for the reception. This is: Garlic bread, Chicken goujons and Ice cream.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Your comfort and enjoyment are important to us. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know when you RSVP, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs. If possible please select one of the menu options, and the menu will be altered to your needs.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! We kindly ask guests to park at Washingborough Hall Hotel, where there is ample parking available. Day guests are then able to take a shortcut through to the church.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, our day guests are invited to join us at Washingborough Hall Hotel for a reception with drinks, followed by our wedding breakfast. Evening guests can arrive later to join the ‘Happily Ever After’ party!

Question

When do I need to pay for my hotel room?

Answer

If you reserved a room via Dean or Amy, the venue now has the list of names who require a room. A 50% deposit will need to paid before the 1st August, and the remaining balance can be paid on check out.

Question

Can we book a hotel room at the venue?

Answer

Of course! There are only a few rooms remaining for the Saturday evening, so please contact Washingborough Hall Hotel asap if you would like to reserve. If you would also like to stay on the Friday evening, please contact the Hall asap as this is open to everyone to book. It is only the Saturday evening where it is reserved solely for our wedding guests.

Question

Can I take photos and post on social media?

Answer

We’d love for you to capture the special moments, but we kindly ask that you wait until we’ve shared the first photos ourselves before posting anything on social media. After that, feel free to post away—just make sure to tag us so we can see all your amazing pictures!
