We met in October 2016. After an initial first date to the cinema (we know, bad choice for a first date!) we felt like we didn't get to know much about one another. Dean however, remedied this with a second date of dinner, bowling and a walk around UL, and at this point, we were both pretty smitten! Fastforward to our first Holiday together to the Christmas Markets in Brussels, where we fell further in love, both with one another and with Sia (Amy mostly!) as her music played every night at the Grand Place in the centre of Brussels. It was the most gorgeous place, and every Christmas when we put up our tree, Amy plays the video on YouTube of the Grand Place in Brussels. So when we returned to Brussels for the Christmas Markets in 2024, it was the perfect place to get engaged, as we had so many memories from our first trip there.
