This is a mostly paved 22-mile trail that is perfect for a walk, run, or cycle. You could hop on the trail at the parking lot right across Betsie Lake as you enter Elberta from Frankfort, or we would also recommend the parking lot on Mollineaux Rd. (4654 Mollineaux Rd, Frankfort, MI 49635) so that you could enjoy the 3 mile section along Crystal Lake.

Betsie River Pathway

Short 2-mile hike through the woods to beautiful lookouts of Lake Michigan.

Green Point Dunes Trailhead

A beautiful 3.2 mile loop through the forest and along the dunes to a stunning overlook. There is a universally accessible 0.5 mile trail option to see the overlook from the same parking lot!
