Fire Island Ferry
Making your way to our venue on Ocean Beach, Fire Island can be done in several ways! If you’re already on Fire Island, just take a water taxi ride over, or you can also reach it by foot or bike on the inland walkways. If you’re traveling from Manhattan, it’ll take you about an hour to catch the LIRR to Bay Shore and hop on the ferry from there. If you’re on Long Island, you’ll to travel to Fire Island by Ferry. We are offering a private ferry for all of our guests (see details below). On the day of the wedding, the private ferry for our guests departs Bay Shore Ferry Terminal at 4:00pm, and, for our guests not staying overnight, departs Ocean Beach for Bay Shore at 11:30PM. For those taking the private ferry, please park/meet at the Bay Shore LIRR train station between 3-3:30pm, and shuttles will take you directly to the boat. The shuttle will also be available for the return trip! Please be advised that there is metered parking at the train station. *Meeting Spot: Bay Shore LIRR Station Parking Lot #2: 90 N Park Ave, Bay Shore, NY 11706* Once you hop off the ferry at Ocean Beach, a hotel representative will guide you to the where our wedding will be held, in just a few short blocks. If needed, golf carts will be available! If our private ferry time does not work for you, there is also a commercial ferry (Fire Island Ferry) located at Maple Ave, Bay Shore, NY 11706. The round trip fee on the commercial ferry is $25 per person. Tickets can be purchased on-line or in person with cash. The ride ferry ride is approximately 30 minutes.

The Palms Hotel still has rooms available, but they are booking up quickly as the season is kicking off. To get your room set up, it's easiest to text Kerry (the hotel manager) directly and let her know you are part of Allison and Dean's party.
