Dress code

Make this your Gala moment! Wedding colors: White & Black. Guest can wear dark colors. Please keep in mind that this is a formal event, so dress your best! The Waldorf location is also a luxury establishment. Your attire will be helpful for the photographer to truly capture all guest in a beautiful and clean manner. Men: Please dress in dark color suits to remain consistent with the formal event setting. Tuxedos are not required. Women: Long floor length dresses and/or formal jumpsuit or pant suits. No short, body con dresses. No white dresses as we would like to reserve that for the bride.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have curated a guest list of a set of 100 people to attend. If you are wanting to add a plus one, please contact the bride no later than February 15th, 2025 to see if your guest can be added to the list. No guest who are not on the list will be allowed into the ceremony.

Is it okay to post photos online of the wedding?

Answer

Phones will not be allowed to be out during the actual ceremony starting when the wedding party starts to walk out. This is so that everyone can stay in the moment and also connect with one another before the ceremony begins. We will allow a moment at the end of "I do" as the music is playing for you to take photos of the bride and the groom. It is okay to post your photos online enjoying your time at the wedding!

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes! Parking: We are able to valet about 30 cars in Waldorfs garage (first come-first serve basis) to allow additional vehicles of our hotel guests. When you arrive, please pull up to Valet and they will retrieve your car. Parking at the hotel cost are covered. Please keep in mind that the attendants are hard working and will be handling a large amount of cars. Please be generous to them. Other parking options besides valet would be: SkyHouse Elora/Maggiano’s Lenox Towers

What if I can't attend?

Answer

We understand that 5 months may not be an ideal time period to announce a wedding. If you can not attend RSVP "no" once those are sent out in February.

Where are the ceremony and reception located?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will take place at the Waldorf Astoria Garden and the Waldorf Astoria Astor Ballrooms.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Arrive at least 30 minutes early to ensure you're seated and settled before the ceremony starts. No late arrivals will be accepted into the ceremony once it begins.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, Yes and Yes! We will also have a Champagne hour before the reception which will include hors d'oeuvre's

Where do I sit during the ceremony?

Answer

When you arrive you will be directed to your seat. There will not be a bride and groom side as we would like to blend our families and friends.
