This spot is near and dear to our hearts. It was our supposed-to-be engagement location until an unprecedented snow storm ruined David's plan. We made up for it by taking our engagement photos there and is a spot that we try and visit at least once a year to catch the ✨ views ✨! The "hike" is really more of a nice, pleasant stroll. The entire loop is 1 mile and, though you won't see the snow-covered trees in July, the summer months are a whole different experience with wildflowers and a beautiful reflection of the mountainscape and trees in the pond.
Splurgy but so so worth it. Shiro San’s toro hand roll is to die for (enough that Diane forgot to take a better photo every time we went). We tried and failed many times to grab omakase with the legend at the bar, but reservation seats in the dining room were still amazing.
