Think “rustic elegance with a cocktail twist”—we’re aiming for stylish yet relaxed vibes. For the ladies, cocktail or sun dresses with soft, flowing fabrics are perfect, and for the gents, light-colored suits or slacks with dress shirts in linen or cotton will have you looking sharp and staying cool. Since it’s July, expect it to be on the warmer side, so breathable materials are your best friend. As for footwear, dressy sandals, wedges, or low heels are ideal for navigating the grassy surfaces without sinking in. In short: dress to impress, but keep it comfy and cool!
Absolutely! We wouldn’t dream of throwing a party without them. There will be an open bar to keep your spirits high, complete with cocktails, mocktails, and everything in between. We’ll have appetizers during cocktail hour to keep you from getting hangry, a delicious dinner (with vegan/vegetarian options if plants are more your vibe), and of course, dessert—because no celebration is complete without a little something sweet. So, come hungry and thirsty; we’ve got you covered!
We did the math, and with over 25 kids on our guest list, we’d need a bouncy castle and a daycare staff to handle the chaos! So, we’ve decided to keep this party adults-only. We hope you can take the night to relax and have some grown-up fun with us!
We totally get it—sometimes the little ones just have to tag along. While our wedding will be adults-only, we’re here to help you avoid a “Home Alone” situation! If you’d like to team up with other parents for some creative babysitting solutions, let us know, and we’ll do our best to connect you with other guests in the same boat.
Please let us know by April 1st if you are going to make the wedding. We would also love if you can let us know if you plan to join the welcome party on the 4th of July so we can plan accordingly. The sooner we know, the better we can plan—so don’t be shy, go ahead and let us know you’re in!
We know many of you are embarking on a bit of a journey to join us—thank you! The Asheville airport is about an hour away from Hot Springs, which, coincidentally, is the perfect amount of time to brush up on your karaoke skills in the car. Asheville itself is just 45 minutes away, so you can still squeeze in a quick visit to a brewery or two before heading over. As for staying the night, you’ll find plenty of charming boutique hotels, VRBOs, and Airbnbs within walking distance or a short drive from the venue. Now, about parking: we’ve got limited space on site, so we recommend parking in the municipal lot. From there, take a scenic stroll across the river, follow the railroad tracks (don’t worry, it’s safe!), and enjoy a quick hike up the trail to the back of the property. It’s like a mini adventure before the main event!
