Come ready to party, not for a dinner service of any kind. We will provide some vegan and gluten-free option appetizers to accompany the open bar and dessert! Please eat dinner before you arrive.
There are several metered parking spaces on Olive St, directly in front of the entrance to the party venue. These meters only need to be paid until 8 pm, after that time they are free until the next day (be sure to grab your vehicle by the appropriate time the next morning to avoid an infamous Los Angeles ticket!). There are also two outdoor parking lots adjacent to the venue that are NOT monitored by security. They can be found on the corners of 11th and Olive St. They are around $25.00 per vehicle for the evening and can be paid electronically.
Kids are welcome to join us, especially for the first portion of the event from 7 - 9 pm. After 9 pm, the music and atmosphere will shift to more of a late night party and dancing vibe. We will have elements of an adult-focused immersive art experience from 7 - 9 pm. We don't believe it will contain anything inappropriate for children, but do reach out to us if you have further concerns or need more clarity on this! The venue also contains several breakable items & delicate decor, though the venue is very understanding and accommodating about item damage. Please consider these notes when deciding for your family.
A masquerade ball (or bal masqué) is a special kind of formal ball in which guests attend in costume wearing masks. Think of "costume parties" as a descendant of this tradition. A masquerade ball is a nighttime event that encompasses music and dancing, and is used for entertainment and celebrations. In our case, it's a masquerade wedding celebration fusion!
The image at the top of this page should give you a good idea! Please copy/paste the following link to further look into masquerade attire ideas, selecting what is also appropriate for a formal wedding celebration: https://bit.ly/masqueradeweddingcelebration Some will come dressed in coattails, white bowties and evening gowns from the late 1800s. Others will be dressed in formal wedding attire or festive formal costume attire. Wear what you feel your best in, but please use this moment as a chance to dress up and have fun (glitter, feathers, THE WORKS y'all). The more you play into the theme, the better the event will be! Please no distasteful costumes (yes I mean you, dad!). 20 points for those who handmake their attire! The event is completely indoors with cement flooring and rugs throughout. There is also an outdoor asphalt patio.
