we're getting married!

The story of how we met is truly one of stars aligning... We met at a country bar in Greeley, CO (out of all places) on a Wednesday night during Ashley's first semester of college. Now please note, Ashley had already spotted Daniel back at CSU a number of times prior to this evening - and she vividly remembers telling her friend that she was going to marry that man. Fast forward to the night at the country bar, and after some back and forth flirting, they finally exchanged information and the rest is sweet history. Seven years later and we continue to build a life that we love and feel so blessed to go through this life side by side.

Daniel was coming home from a long (8 month) season in Finland so Ashley decided to organize a welcome home dinner for him with family and a few family friends. Little did she know, Daniel was secretly planning to propose to her at the dinner! It was the most perfect, intimate proposal and a complete surprise which made it that much more special. Fun fact - the evening of our elopement will actually mark our 3 year anniversary since we have been engaged.
