We met at The Grambling State University through mutual friends and didn't think much of it. Then a bunch of us went on a nightly walk and we continued to lock eyes with each other with complete eye contact .After parting ways to go with other friends we ran back into one another the same night. Late that night into the early morning we talked all night about life, and honestly at that moment we both thought "Okay. This could be something."

On Dazia’s birthday we both woke up that morning for an appointment and excited for her birthday but for two different reasons. She was excited to finally have a party and Prentiss was excited to pop the question Dazia had no idea about. Everyone partied, ate, and Dazia opened gifts not knowing what’s was to come next. Prentiss had everyone play Dazia’s favorite tv show game,(“Wheel of Fortune”), and the final puzzle was when Prentiss gathered his thoughts and got on one knee. At this point Dazia cried and exclaimed “Yesssss” to becoming the wife of Prentiss Gilmore #happygilmore17
