Our Nikkah Ceremony will be held at the Nizamiye Mosque in Midrand, Johannesburg
Please plan to arrive about 15 minutes before Dhuhr Salaah to allow time for seating and preparation. This will ensure you’re comfortably settled before the Nikkah ceremony begins.
We’ll begin with Dhuhr Salaah, followed by our Nikkah ceremony. Following the ceremony guests are invited to make their way to the courtyard, where they can help themselves to canapés and drinks.
Please wear modest clothing in line with Islamic guidelines for the Nikkah ceremony.
Yes, parking is available at the Nikkah venue. We recommend arriving early to secure a spot.
Canapés and drinks will be served in the courtyard immediately after the Nikkah ceremony. Invited guests are welcome to help themselves and enjoy.
The ceremony is open to all at the mosque, however, as we’re keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP.
We absolutely love having moments captured, so please feel free to take photos throughout the day, just be mindful of others, especially during the ceremony
If you require any special accommodations, please let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to assist you.
Please use the RSVP section on our website and select "I will not attend" so we can keep our records updated. Your response is greatly appreciated!
