It was April of 2021. Veronica had just downloaded her very first dating app (Hinge), got overwhelmed, and turned off notifications. BUT not before giving her number to Adam and agreeing to go on a date. ... Then she forgot. So on April 25, Adam texted her and even though she really didn't want to go (Adam swears it was a pity date!), they went to Hop Farm Brewery and talked until the music stopped... the lights came on... everyone left... and the last person working begged them to leave so they could lock up. They went their separate ways and texted "Is it crazy that I want to see you again tomorrow?" "I feel the same way" So the next day, they went on a lunch date and after Adam's weekly Sunday family dinner, he stopped by her house just to say goodnight and wish her safe travels. ~ The week following they talked on the phone every day for HOURS while Veronica was in Virginia for work and Adam in Ohio for a wedding until they were both home on Saturday.
