Centro Histórico is where we stayed on our first trip to Guadalajara.
Mercado San Juan de Dios, also known as Mercado Libertad, is the largest indoor market in Latin America with over 3,000 stalls across three levels. It’s a vibrant hub for local food, handmade crafts, leather goods, and everything from fresh produce to electronics. A visit here is a deep dive into Guadalajara’s culture—colorful, flavorful, and full of energy.
Jardín Hidalgo is the central plaza of Tlaquepaque, a colorful artsy town known for its pottery, mariachi, and colonial charm. Surrounded by shops, cafes, and live music, it’s the perfect spot to stroll, sip a local drink, and soak in the culture.
