Our love story began in October of 2020. Lance was beginning his last year of college, and I was beginning my second year of nursing school. One night I received a very good grade on an exam that I had been stressing over and decided to celebrate. I went out with a friend who invited Lance along and that was all it took. One night together and we became inseparable. Every single day after that night for the next few months we spent together. I knew very early on that this would be the man I would spend the rest of my life with. We were best-friends and had so much fun just being together, whether we were out on the town or at home doing absolutely nothing. On December 3rd 2020, Lance asked me to be his girlfriend and it was the easiest yes of my life. Fast forward to the end of 2022, I decided I wanted to give travel nursing a try, and Lance was the first one on board. He encouraged me to take a chance on myself and dropped everything to travel with me. We were on the road for a little over a year and got to experience such beautiful places and sights together which brought us memories we will cherish forever. On my birthday at the end of October in 2024, Lance popped the big question. I could not believe the man of my dreams was on one knee in front of me and our loved ones. There was no other choice for me besides YES! Now here we are entering 2026 ready to tackle a new adventure together; marriage. We can not be more thrilled for the future and what is to come for us. March 7, 2026 will be a night to remember as we get to celebrate our love with our family and friends.
