A classic 2020s love store - it all started on Bumble. So yes, Dayna had to make the first move! We met for the first time officially at Champs Downtown State College the night before her birthday after they both went to a drag show at Cafe 210. But as Todd likes to say, "she stalked me at Doggie's first," but in reality, she just had to see if he wasn't crazy.

On August 3, 2021, we made it official after getting some Cafe Teas. Todd asked Dayna to be his girlfriend outside of Cafe 210, giving in to peer pressure from her friends to make it official. (Thank you, Sophie!)

Todd is TERRIBLE at keeping secrets. He bought a ring at the end of October & picked it up in early November. From there, he was dropping some subtle hints, asking his sister Hannah to get Dayna to get her nails done & asking to hang out with her that weekend (usually something he avoids because Hannah & Dayna LOVE to yap). He took Dayna to one of their favorite spots, the Raleigh Beer Garden (thanks, Becca, for introducing us to this place). That's where he got on one knee after Dayna was poking fun at the proposal ALL night & asked her to marry him. Of course, she said YES!
