Austin and Dayna both studied Nursing at Saginaw Valley State University. What started off as a friendship filled with laughter, study dates at the library, and a Beer Olympics victory turned into a house, a boat, two dogs (Piper and Willow), and a beautiful life together!

Austin and Dayna planned a weekend camping trip to Wilderness State Park. They scored the perfect campsite with a beautiful view of Lake Michigan! They had chicken tacos cooked over the fire then went to watch the sunset on the beach. Austin told Dayna he forgot something at the campsite and a few minutes later Piper came running up to Dayna with a bandana that said, "Mom, will you marry Dad?" Obviously, Dayna said YES! They popped a bottle of champagne, FaceTimed friends and family, and enjoyed the sunset. The weekend was filled with hikes, swimming, dog beaches, and delicious campfire food--it was the perfect weekend!
