Question

What if we cannot make it to your wedding? :(

Answer

We completely understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes circumstances prevent guests from attending in person. While we will miss your physical presence, consider joining us virtually! We hope to live-stream the entire wedding ceremony, so you can still be part of our special day from wherever you are. Whether you’re across the country or halfway around the world, technology allows us to bridge the distance and share this joyous occasion with you. More details to come!

ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION AT THE SAME LOCATION?

Answer

Yes! Our venue is where the whole evening will take place. The bridal party will be taking photos for about an hour after the ceremony ends, and all other guests will be able to enjoy a cocktail hour at the reception area of our venue.

Is the ceremony inside or outside?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outside! We do have a backup plan in case of inclement weather (praying for sunny skies though!). The reception dinner will be held inside.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to very limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, there will be a place to share who your plus one will be when you RSVP. Thank you so much for understanding!

Am I allowed to take pictures with my phone?

Answer

While we would love to see our special day from your perspective, we ask that you do not use your phones during the ceremony. Our photographers will get plenty of photos we will share with you :) However, we encourage you to take photos the rest of the event! Download POV - Disposable Camera Events in your App Store (iPhone and Android compatible) to take and share pictures throughout the night! You will find more details on how to use it later :)

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THIS EVENT?

Answer

Yes!! If your invitation includes the names of your children or if it is addressed to your family, we have accounted for your children having a seat at the event. Please note that our venue is placed on top of a hill overlooking the river, so please take caution when bringing young children to this event. Additionally, there will be alcohol at this event. So if Mom and Dad want a night off, that is up to them!

There will be alcohol at the reception. Please drink and drive responsibly! :)

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Our dress code for this event is going to be semi-formal. Reminder: Please avoid wearing white :) **Additionally, the bridesmaids will be wearing different shades of light blue, please plan on avoiding this color as well*

I am coming in from out of town, is there a hotel I can stay at?

Answer

WHAT IS THE PARKING SITUATION FOR THE EVENT?

Answer

There is plenty of free parking once you drive up the gravel driveway to the top of hill where the venue is.

ARE YOU REGISTERED? WHERE?

Answer

Our registry is located on a separate section of this website (see Registry at the top of the page). Clicking directly on some items will bring you to the appropriate site such as Amazon or Target. Alternatively, you may be able to add some items directly to a "cart" through Zola.
