Welcome!

They say, "NEVER MIX BUSINESS WITH PLEASURE"; luckily this guy was already on his way out! We met at work, and initially at the time, I wasn't looking and neither was he, just casual dating. We both also grew up on the rule of thumb not to mix business with pleasure, although we had a few friends that it worked out for. There were some people at work "egging" us on or instigating of course mainly because there were only a few of us that were younger, and he made me laugh plus I found out he was smart, raised in a church home and respectful to his parents, so I said, why not give it a go; he wasn't too bad looking either HAHA. Everything was kind of a blur from there, I just knew the check marks that my parents were looking for he fit. Don't let him fool you and say I trapped him, because he was head over heels from there on out, but that's how the story began.

We went back to our old stomping grounds at Longwood Gardens in PA where we went for New Year's Eve in 2017 but this time with our friends who "apparently" had never got to discover certain grounds there. We walked through different parts that we actually hadn't been to ourselves, and decided to take some pictures. I was waiting for them to take the flick when I looked over and he was down on one knee. I was shocked, so shocked it took me forever to say "YES", but eventually I did and VOILÀ, we were engaged. S/N: The ring didn't fit and our lovely friend Monima tried to make it work, but we took a video of both of our rings halfway on our fingers and moved on.
