Let’s Celebrate Love!

Magic is what happens when two souls unexpectedly collide. That is what happened to us. We bumped into each other at Carnival on the Mile and RIGHT AT THAT MOMENT, our worlds shifted! Two people not looking for anything, just naturally & strongly drawn to each other. We couldn't resist what was happening nor did we try to stop it. And thank goodness that we didn't. "You had me at the Mile."

In the sacred waters of the Maya, I proposed to my beloved. I knew this was the right time in our lives and on that Friday morning, I was SURE! We were coming off a beautiful musical experience dancing the night away to our favorite band, Rufus du Sol. We woke up and I felt something special in the air. I packed the ring in my fanny pack, and we were off to seize the day. We made it to a pair of Cenotes dubbed “DOS OJOS '' due to their resemblance to a pair of eyes. Exploring the park, we made it to the second “OJO” of the day and to my surprise we were alone. I looked around and instantly felt it. THIS WAS IT! We were amazed by the cenotes' beauty, and I was amazed by hers. Visualizing the moment, I set up the camera to record our entire interaction within the cave. We talked, laughed, posed for the camera and as she was getting ready to continue exploring the cave; I asked her for one more picture. I smoothly retrieved the ring from my back pocket and in mid conversation I looked her in her eyes and dropped to one knee. I asked her to marry me.
