The last day to RSVP is June 20th, 2025.
1. Procession of the groom arriving - This will begin at 10:30am with the wedding ceremony to follow. We encourage you to be in your seats by 10:30am. Please do not be late. 2. Lunch will be provided following the ceremony (by 1pm). 3. Cocktail Hour - To begin at 6pm and will end at 7:15pm. 4. Reception - After the cocktail hour, dinner will be provided. 5. After dinner - It's time to dance!
The wedding ceremony will be a traditional South Indian Hindu ceremony which will be conducted by a Hindu priest. We will then have a civil ceremony to follow that will be conducted by our dear friend, Allison Salter. A program will be given for each guest at the ceremony providing information about key rituals that will be occurring.
It's recommended to wear a different outfit for each event. For the wedding ceremony you can wear day wedding attire (dresses, suits, Indian outfits - think colorful!). For the reception you can wear evening wedding attire (cocktail dresses, suits, Indian outfits). You're more than welcome to wear the same outfits for both events also.
This time is used for the wedding ceremony to be transitioned into the reception. During this gap you can rest, catch up with friends and family, whatever you desire!
1. Wedding Ceremony - After the ceremony, there will be a vegetarian Indian lunch provided. 2. Cocktail Hour - Indian Appetizers will be served (vegetarian, chicken - no red meat) including an open bar. 3. Reception - Dinner will be served with mostly Indian food and and some American dishes (vegetarian, chicken - no red meat). Open bar included as well.
