We’re getting married!

Zach and Isabelle formally met their senior year at SHS. While they shared friends, they didn’t really get to know each other until they were both enrolled in a class together. The one and only class they ever had together; a Self, Family and Relationships course. That class gave them a crash course on what healthy and happy relationships look and feel like. By the end of that class, much to the suspicion of their fellow classmates, they were indeed dating. On April 23, 2018 Isabelle asked Zach if he would like a trial run at dating and the rest is history (and/or down below).

It was dang near blizzard conditions, but that didn’t stop Zach from taking his Buick out into the elements to watch a movie with Isabelle and her family. He was asked to bring over butter since they were popping their own popcorn. Zach went to the store, made his purchase and on hit the icy road. He made it there safe even! Unfortunately for him, the Stuard’s are butter snobs and teased him for bringing margarine instead of butter. Luckily they liked him anyways.

The first time Isabelle met Zachs parents, it was to watch a movie. This movie was not enjoyable, but meeting Brett and Amanda was. If you know Brett, you know he has a sense of humor that could be described as dry. Luckily for Isabelle, so do some of the men in her family. What exactly was said that day between Isabelle and Brett isn’t remembered, but Amanda says she remembers what Brett said after Isabelle left; “She’ll fit in great in the family”. Since then Isabelle and Brett have made each other laugh many times.
