Ben had been hinting for a few weeks that he was planning to propose to me at the mountains. On the day of the proposal he went out running errands in Orange,CA. It was a really bad storm and it was raining really hard. I was at work when he called me and told me had had some bad news(said it sarcastically) to tell me when I got home and that I will need to sit down on the couch. I asked if I should have my daughter in her room because she will most likely be on the coach. Ben stated that she could be there. Hours later I make it home and Ben ask me to come over to where he is. He gets down on one knee and tells me that as he was driving around in rain and realized that he didn't want to go through one more storm with out me. He continued by asking me to make him the happiest man and I screamed yes. He placed the engagement ring on my finger.
