Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can get accurate estimates for food, chairs, etc.

Question

Are you having a wedding shower?

Answer

Because we have lived together for many years now, we are already so blessed to have everything we need for this new chapter of our lives. If you would like to contribute experiences and necessities for our honeymoon, you can do so on our Registry tab. There will also be a table for gifts and cards at the wedding ceremony. Overall, your presence is the biggest gift to us both.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Come as you are! Most guests will likely attend in dressy-casual attire, but make sure you’re confident in your attire to not feel under or overdressed. We'll just be happy you're there!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the ceremony at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony's start. This will allow time for parking and walking to your seats.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! We will be serving one of our favorite foods, pizza, at the reception directly after the ceremony! Beverages and cake will also be served.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot located directly next to the historic Tea Room. However, parking is limited, so please carpool when possible. Additional parking can be found in Picnic Area #2, which is across from the playground. Please see the schedule tab for a park map. DO NOT PARK ON THE ROAD IN FRONT OF THE TEA ROOM.

Question

Can we stay at the park?

Answer

Yes! Norris Dam State Park is a beautiful place to camp or stay in a cabin. They offer both modern and historic cabins, and lots of activities such as hiking, fishing, biking, and horseback riding. Most of the wedding party will be staying in the cabins, so book ahead! Please note that cabins require a 2-night reservation and that only the wedding party will be allowed to Friday's Rehearsal Dinner.

Question

Are there any other events going on at Norris Dam State Park?

Answer

Yes! Norris Dam State Park offers activities year-round, such as lake cruises, guided hikes, birding hikes, owl hikes, and kid-friendly activities. Find the event schedule at www.tnstateparks.com/parks/events/norris-dam.
