Dawson & Meredith

How We Met
Dawson and Meredith met during their freshman year of college at Mars Hill University in August of 2016. Fast forward to November of the same year, they became “official”! They soon witnessed each other’s wins, graduations, new jobs, moving and creating a home together, gaining their first daughter (a beautiful Calico cat named Maple), and so much more!

The Proposal
8 years down the line, Dawson thought he was being sly when he asked about a ring size and immediately planned a vacation to Florida with our friends all in one week. Meredith quickly caught on (he’s never one to book the AirBnb's) and she was asking everyone if they knew of his plan and what she should wear just in case. On January 16th, 2024 Dawson popped the question the first full day in Destin, FL because he couldn’t sleep at night (which was not his original plan). It was the coldest and most overcast day of our trip, but they wouldn't change a thing.
