Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Semi-formal; we prefer men in suits and women in cocktail dresses, floor-length dresses or dressy separates. We would love it if both men and women would match our color palate; mint green, lavender, sky blue, lemon yellow, and blush pink. We know this will be more difficult for men, but please use black and gray as last resorts. Please also either wear or bring comfortable shoes to change into because we are expecting you to dance.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

Locals - by car Tourists *By Dawson's Request* - by rental car, Uber, or reach out and we can try to arrange a ride for you.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be inside. It might still be chilly, so dress accordingly.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

No, we have a list of recommended hotels near the venue (recommended by the local expert - Dawson). If the cost of staying somewhere is an issue please reach out.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

Answer

Depending on how many people stay at the same hotel we may arrange a shuttle. Please keep us updated on your lodging and ride situation and we will do our best to arrange a ride if needed.

Expect temperatures to be in the 60s and sunny in central California in March

Please ask before bringing a plus one

Answer

Please don't let children be the reason you don't come, but we don't expect many children to attend.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We will have a variety of soups as a main course, with a coffee bar, desserts, and smores throughout the night.

Answer

No, our event is completely alcohol free, however, we will have a coffee bar.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes prior to ceremony start time at 4pm

What time will your wedding reception end?

Answer

Please expect to stay and dance until 10:00pm.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Not longer than 30 minutes to allow us to sign our marriage license. We do not intend to take wedding photos between ceremony and reception.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Please keep phones away during the ceremony, we will have a photographer (don't worry). We also intend to have digital cameras at the reception.

Answer

We will keep the website up to date with any changes.
