Please arrive 15-30 minutes before the time listed on your invitation.
Please RSVP by no later than August 18th, 2026. If we do not receive an RSVP by that date, we will unfortunately have to mark you as not attending.
Unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. If you received a plus one, either their name or “guest” will appear on the invite, and when you RSVP.
As much as we love your little ones, this is an adults only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time to come celebrate with us!
Please put away all electronics for the ceremony. Afterwards, please feel free to snap away and share them with us!
The dress code is semi-formal. Ladies can wear floor length or below the knee length dresses, or elegant pantsuit. Stiletto heals may not be a good idea, as the ceremony is outside on gravel/dirt. Gentlemen should wear a suit or dark jeans with a button up and/or suit jacket. Please refrain from wearing shades of white/cream/beige/tan and shades of burnt orange/rust.
In lieu of traditional gifts, we would be so grateful for any cash contributions to our honeymoon fund!
We have decided to do a donation bar. A jar will be available for cash as well as e-transfer information. All donations are appreciated but not expected! There will be a cocktail hour following the ceremony with seltzer and beer. Then the bar will close during dinner and speeches with host provided wine on the table. And open back up again for dancing time with spirits, seltzers, beer, and wine. Coffee, tea, and water will also be available.
The ceremony will be completely outdoors (weather permitting), and the reception is in a barn style pavilion.
Around this time of year it usually ranges between 20-25°C, but Ontario’s weather can fluctuate drastically. We will be in the middle of a shaded bush, so it will likely cool down quite a bit a night.
Upon entry into the driveway, follow the directional arrows through the corn field. You will eventually come to free parking on your left hand side.
We are in a very remote area! The closest Inn/Motel would be in Hanover at either the Canadiana Hotel, or Travellers Inn. We would recommend going on Airbnb to find some local cabins/tiny houses to rent. There will also be free camping available onsite. Please be sure to select that you will be camping when you RSVP as there is limited space. Trailers must be set up and left on Friday between 12pm-5pm. Overnight stay on Friday is not permitted. Guests must exit the premises before 12pm Sunday.
