How We Met
Our love story began the moment Dawn saw Tammy at a lesbian speed dating event in NYC. Tammy was wearing a pink striped shirt, bright as a light, with her heart in full display.
Dawn instantly knew Tammy could be dangerous to her plans of being single and having fun, so she immediately put Tammy in the “friend” category.
But their connection could not be denied.
They talked on the phone every day to share about their other dates. One night, out with a group, Tammy realized she had been sidelined and made her move.
She asked Dawn why they weren’t dating. She was told she had a big R (for relationship) stamped on her forehead and Dawn wasn’t seriously dating anyone.
This solidified Tammy’s determination and she went into full on dazzling mode. She danced near Dawn, flirted with her and finally leaned in and kissed her at the bar.
Dawn’s date was not impressed.
Luckily, Dawn was. That single kiss started their journey and has brought us to this moment of their marriage.
