We’re making it legal!

A long, long time ago, in the big city of Louisville, a coworker of Dawn’s decided she needed a break from her everyday life and she knew the perfect off-the-grid spot. She told Dawn she would call some friends and they would go to the little hole in the wall bar in Shepherdsville, The Depot. One friend texted was her friend, “Cookie”. She told Dawn that Cookie could always be counted on to bring some people and have fun. Cookie immediately responded to the text that he was in and then followed it with, “who is this?” With that sequence of response, Dawn knew Cookie was likely a character. Fast forward to the night at the little smoky bar and Dawn was watching UL basketball on the big screen TV (March Madness time) and Cookie walked up with the most confused/disgusted look on his face and said, “do you know you’re the only person in here watching those dirty birds?”. Dawn responded with an equal level of confusion, “do you know that I dont care?” Fast forward 14 years and those two opposite, independent, self sufficient individuals have managed to build a wonderful life together. They have even managed to agree on almost a handful of things! After working together to raise two daughters into adulthood, they are now ready to start their new chapter of life with new titles…Husband and Wife.
