FAQs - How does a weekend wedding work?

Question

I want to stay for the weekend at the venue, what should I do?

Answer

All accommodation rentals MUST go through the bride and groom. All rooms, and camping will be first come first serve. Contact Dawn or Roy to arrange. Please do this before sending your RSVP

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

It saddens us as pet owners and dog lovers to say this, but unfortunately although an outdoor venue, dogs are not permitted.

Are children invited?

Answer

Children are absolutely welcome! That being said, if you would like this to be a weekend away for you, we won't tell if you don't tell them that it is only for adults! ;P

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

The nature of the venue does not 'allow' a traditional bar to be onsite. That being said we will have a 'modest' (by our standards) open bar, wine with dinner, and guests are allowed to bring their own alcohol for personal consumption. Obviously Roy and I are responsible for guests behavior so all we ask is to be responsible.

I am staying for the weekend, do I need to bring food and drink?

Answer

We are supplying most meals (no lunch Saturday), it should be more then enough food to keep you full. Regardless feel free to bring some snacks and such if you would like. We will have some drinks with Friday dinner, mimosa's at breakfast Saturday and an open bar at the reception, you are permitted to bring your own alcohol, so if you have a favorite drink you can bring it.
