Quincy and I began talking in June 2021, living on opposite sides of Dallas and working completely different lives. He was a cement truck driver, and I was a correctional officer. Despite the distance and differences, something just clicked. By February 2022, we decided to make things official. Our journey wasn’t easy… we faced love, loss, and challenges early on that tested us in ways we never expected. But through it all, we stayed committed to each other. As time went on, our love grew into something even bigger, a family. Today, we are blessed with four beautiful children who mean everything to us. And a turtle who just somehow fits with us. On March 26, 2023, Quincy asked me to spend forever with him, and I said yes. Our story isn’t perfect, but it’s real and it’s ours.
