Like most modern day love stories, this one starts online... Dawn and John's first date was at Tim Hortons as Dawn only did coffee dates to start. John agreed to the coffee date, but then ordered a grape Gatorade. Then on their second date, he was introduced to the friends! He met Andrew and Jackie, and decided to continue to come around after! Shortly after, John joined in for a hospital fundraiser, and John received a full interrogation, the typical Dawn special!

"That went awry" On Dawn's day off, John wanted to go to the fruit market and Dawn didn't want to go that far for fruit. John was hoping to go out there as their first date Tim Hortons was near there, but he couldn't let Dawn know that's where he wanted to go. They then decided to go to CJ Barymores to hit some balls. When they got there it was booked and so they ended up leaving, and it was raining! Then John said since she messed up his plans he had to ask now in the rain in the parking lot, and the rest is history! Unfortunately, John didn't get down on one knee because it was raining, and this is a requirement, so y'all better hope he gets on his knee before November!!
