Master of Honor
Jeffrey Shaner, Master of Honor to the bride, has been a dear friend of Dawn Marie since 2001. His enthusiasm and excitement for this event is infectious, and he has been an incredible support (along with his mother, Maria). Jeff is basically the long lost twin brother Dawn Marie never knew she always wanted.
Bridesmaid
Amber Howell is sister to the bride and also acting as a bridesmaid. According to James, Dawn Marie has a laugh that is only ever heard when she is talking with Amber. The two sisters have so many inside jokes that they have lost track, and they are known to go from zero to hysterical laughter in a matter of minutes.
Bridesmaid
Anja and Dawn Marie have known each other since 2000, making theirs the longest friendship the bride has had (except for Amber). They started off as pen pals (snail mail) until finally Dawn Marie had access to email. Despite distance and time, the two have maintained a friendship that has lasted well into the weird realm of adulthood.
Bridesmaid
Kristen and Dawn Marie met towards the end of their time at UC Santa Barbara, and became fast friends because of their mutual love of Sailor Moon and Final Fantasy X. Despite time, distance, and the addition of Kristen's son Aidan (who is freaking adorable), the two have stayed close. Adulthood be damned!
Groomsman
James and Pat met back in 2002 through a succession of odd little creative projects. Since then, they have worked (and played!) together on many music projects, short films and even on stage in a production of The Scarlet Pimpernel at The Conejo Players Theater in Thousand Oaks. They go where the good times take them!
Best Woman
Larissa and James have been friends ever since her sister, Melanie, introduced them in tenth grade. Since then, the two have shared many adventures and joyous life events. James was present for the birth of Larissa's first child, Kaylee, and her marriage to her husband, Kurt, thus her presence as his groomswoman is a fitting addition to their ongoing tale.
Groomsman
Todd and James became roommates in 2012 out of necessity, but became friends out of a mutual love for various creative ventures. The two have worked together on many passion projects including short films, music videos, and various bits of YouTube content. They once created a ridiculous spec web series called "The Adventures of Bangers and Mash", themselves providing the voices, and James even wrote music for Todd's ensemble comedy extravaganza, The Exceptionally Ordinary Tour.
