Embassy Suites by Hilton Rockford Riverfront

We are staying at this hotel in the downtown area of Rockford and approximately 2 miles from the wedding venue. The hotel is not allowing us to reserve a block of rooms but there are a number of rooms still available that can be booked individually as of February 14. It appears there are several other weddings scheduled for this weekend so it's advisable to book early!

There are several hotels near the East State Street exit off of I-90 which may be more convenient for guests going to and from O'Hare airport. For those not wanting to rent a car, please see the separate travel note regarding bus service to and from O'Hare.

Getting from O'Hare Airport to Rockford

Rockford is approximately 65 miles west of O'Hare airport, so taxis and Uber/Lyft services can be expensive. For those guests flying into O'Hare and not wanting to rent a car, the Coach USA/Van Galder bus service is the best way to get to and from the airport. Tickets are approximately $40 round trip and there are three hotels off of I-90 surrounding the Walton Street Van Galder bus terminal in Rockford (Hilton Garden Inn, Radisson, and Candlewood Suites). The reception and ceremony is about 10 miles from this location. We are hoping enough guests will have cars so that we can help arrange rides to and from the venue for those who need one.
