Don't leave Charleston without walking down King Street. There are tons of cute shops and restaurants that you will want to check out. You can walk down both sides of King Street (New & Old) in about two hours!
If you are looking for a running or walking path this is the spot. The Battery is a strip along the water lined with beautiful homes and is definitely a must see.
If you are looking for a day at the beach head to Sullivan's Island. It is a quick 20 minute Uber ride from downtown. Have your driver drop you off at Obstinate Daughter or Poe's Tavern (great places for lunch) and you will be able to walk to the beach from there. Be careful with alcohol on the beach as sometimes there are police ticketing people.
Another great beach that is also 20 minutes from downtown. It is an extremely casual beach/expect there to be a lot of young people partying. There are several little hole in the wall lunch spots but Taco Boy is our favorite.
