We’re getting married!

Chris and Laney met through Hinge and began dating February 22nd, 2022 (on a Tuesday!). Their first date was lunch at Volcano Japanese and Chinese Bistro followed by some time spent at Ocean View Beach. Since then, they have been always at each others sides and excited to experience everything life has to offer. Chris was extremely supportive as Laney finished her studies and graduated from ODU in 2023. Chris and Laney have also traveled many times to visit his Alma Mater, Virginia Tech, to watch football games and visit his sister Caroline. They have enjoyed many beach days during the summers and cozy football Sundays during the Fall. On June 21st, 2024, Chris recreated their first date and proposed to Laney! They had dinner at Volcano and made their way to Ocean View Beach where he popped the question! Both of their families were there to witness the proposal by hiding underneath one of the piers along the beach. The wedding date was set and the planning began shortly afterwards. They are both looking forward to many more adventures together and to the rest of their lives as husband and wife.
