We’re getting married!

Priscilla and I met during our ministry's leadership training program. During our 2 years of training our mutual respect and appreciation for each other and our strengths grew tremendously. We got to work together on different work projects, seeing each other grow and develop as a man/woman of God. However, it stayed just that for most of the training and wasn't until the final months of the training that we began seeing the romantic potential between us. It started with simple comments/recommendations from friends, but began blossoming after Tim got back from a trimester at our training program’s location in Colorado in early June. After some awkward initial steps we quickly began sharing our hearts with each other and realized how simply things began to flow. It was impossible to ignore how God had brought us together and how much our relationship had helped us grow and develop as ministers. It wasn’t long until we began discussing our future together and the possibility of marriage. While trying to find the right ring, a beautiful ring with a natural Montana sapphire (Priscilla, particular as ever 😜), we graduated from the training, Priscilla went to New York for vacation and Tim stayed in Ohio. While in New York, Priscilla ended up going to a wedding dress shop just for fun, on a friend’s suggestion, but ended up finding a wedding dress! Unfortunately the search for a ring was dragging on, and our desire to get engaged kept growing. To take pressure off the search for a ring, Tim proposed with a stand-in ring during a beautiful sunset on lake St. Mary’s until he finally found a jeweler in Ohio that could set a beautiful Montana sapphire in an heirloom ring handed down from his grandmother.
